C works in a big IT corporate. At her work, she needs to check prices, numbers, products constantly from other competitors. This is an eye-draining, time-oriented and a high pressure job. After few year she reached to a complete state of mental, physical and emotional exhaustion. She lost her motivation, she feels overwelmed, fatigue, lack of sleep, tiredness. She couldn't even think clearly, and it's difficult for her to decide or start a tiny task. She feels frustrated, and easily irritated by a small reason.
When I was sorting, I found C still has many new clothes with price labels on. She was shopping to make herself happy, imagining nice clothes on her, visiting nice places, meeting friendly people...but the shopping Dopamine didn't last long, it became worse. Same clothes with different color, same clothes with different sizes, but eventualy she wears only the same home outfit. After sorting, I asked her whether to donate, to keep or to resell these clothes. It was difficult for her to decide. She said: I might still need this, I might still need that...She was uncertain and unsecure. C is like me, a bit overweight, what I can suggest is to keep smaller sizes and get away from bigger sizes. In this way, I encourage myself to look after my own health and diet.
It was a short trip; I couldnt stay extra time with C,besides that I couldnt buy any bins and baskets. I had to try using her current boxes to organize the wardrobe.
For this kind of project, I would prepfer to stay with the client at least for 2 weeks to support her with:
1. Cooking healthy diet.
2. Going to gym together.
3. Planning a day together.
4. Meditation daily.
5. Cherish every moment and gratitud.
