After living in the Netherlands for over 15 years, I finally had my first experience as a landlord! The purpose is not to be a landlord, but to let others experience the Homeflow of my house. And also to promote the benefits of minimalism! Less is More!!
Tenants: Two adults and two children
Wardrobe: One wardrobe for four people
Kitchen: Three small drawers
The advantage of short-term rental is that tenants know they will be moving again in a short period of time, so the things they bring with them must be things they will use every day!
Tenants feedbacks after moving out:
1. On the first day of moving in, the landlord helped us put all our things into drawers, and we were ready to start our new journey right away.
2. We were not used to finding things in the first few days after moving into the house, but later we are able to find what we are looking for immediately every time.
3. When we finally moved out, we realized that there were still some things we didn't use. Maybe we could get rid of them in the new house or put them in the storage room.
4. Children learned to prepare breakfast and snacks by themselves, and take their own bowls, plates, cups, and cereals in an easy comfortable height...
5. Children learned to help hang and fold clothes.
6. We feel pressure to clean up before the landlord's visit every time. But since we all know where things should be placed, we can clean up quickly. The landlord organized the stuff systematically and logically.
